SEPTEMBER 2026:

Another month gone and with the weather still staying warm! Still plenty of time for all the shinny!!! Last month we had 75 attendees and net income for the month up $350. From the previous. Awesome! We now have 232 on the mailouts for this month. Our averaging for the months are very stable and growing all the time. Good job! We still have the claims manager position that's still open. If anyone is interested please approach on of us at the meeting for full information and application form. Also the webmaster spot has been filled by Dustin Johnson. A big thanks for grabbing that opportunity for the club. Big thanks to Matt and Ric for the many hours and years put in to these positions! JOB WELL DONE!

 

Have any of the members been down to any of the Utah claims to see what conditions prevail. With all the monsoon rains that had occurred. The Cresent Creek claims should be knee-deep in gold. Please offer reports! Thank you!

 

Big thanks to Beau, Carl and Dustin and Jeff for making it out to the Goldbacks event down in Lehi over the weekend. Dave Turin from GoldRush also was there and spent time on the panning tubs showing folks how to pan. Dave will be making a trip up this winter to do a special lecture for the club. Not one to miss!!

 

Clubs picnic is this weekend on the 19th. It runs from 12 AM to 5PM or until finished. There will be demos in place highbanker, drywasher and dredge for some hands on learning and instruction. Going to be awesome!! Address and location will still be at Terry's property in South Jordan.

 

New information on the clubs gold panning paydirt bags for sale. Bags will be priced according to spot at the time of when gold was purchased to fill them. Also bags will be marked with the State that gold being placed was obtained from. The newest bags are from Ariz. and will be easier to pan the others were from Nev. And the gold is a lot finer.

 

Our guest lecture for this month will be Dale Bascom [author & gold prospector). The title will be "Deciphering The Legends! Why the Utah gold?" If anyone has Dale's book, it provides many locations where placer gold can and has been found. Well see you all on Tuesday and for pics on all information that has been discussed.
