Hello! Welcome to warm June! Perfect weather for digging the shinny!!!

 

Last meeting we had 98 attendees and with an the lecture was awesome. The club now has 337 active members strong. With the usual drop in May there was an actual increase of about 30 % or so from last year. The push for 400 begins!!!

 

Top topics! The club has now officially become a non-profit Corporation. With the finishing up with some the the paperwork with the State. GO BIG OR GO HOME! This will also provide the members with alot of new perks that can be utilized. A BIG THANKS!!!! To Dustin Johnson, our events coordinator and membership officer, for putting in months of hours of time in putting this all together!!

 

We posted the gathering out on the Carrot Top Claim that the spreading of ashes from Andy passing would be done. He will always be there when we are out on the claim. Hope he shows us we're the golds at!

 

Just a reminder the the club has the only real outlit for most prospecting supplies in the state. If you don't see it there on meeting night we will try to get it for you. Any larger items need to be pre-paid for in advanced. Thanks!

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE! The layout floor plan for the meeting has changed a little. Memberships will be on the NW corner of the room to provide them with the additional room when it get crowded with new members and old. Map will be posted!

 

WELCOME JEFF PRESS as the new equipment manager for the club. A lot of mechanical skills to keep the equipment in good shape, for when members would like to use it. If using any of the equipment that the club has. Please return it in the condition that it was borrowed on. The new location for the equipment is around 5600 west and 4700 south. Contact numbers will be provided at the end of this message.

 

If members are utilizing the claims please take time to fill out the paperwork for time put in. This needs to be provided in order in keeping the small miners waiver. Thanks!

 

Thanks for all Makin the VIP in the house welcome last meeting. Matt (President of NUPA) seen and learned alot of how the club operates and utilizing its members to make it the awesome club that we have.

 

And now for the exciting part. The lecture for this month of June will be titled "CATCHING THAT DESERT GOLD! A DUSTY ADVENTURE!" Their will be an outside demonstration as we had the last time in the dirt parking lot on the northeastern side of the center. This will be a hands on demonstration and with the lecture starting and ending inside! This will be conducted by Dustin Johnson and Carl Weidman. Two of the clubs officer's. The weather will be nice outside for this event.

 

The clubs BBQ and demonstrations are in the planning stage. Will keep all updated as this comes together.
